THOMB Wins F1 Creator Series Championship

Every Saturday evening, one of the biggest F1 live game events takes place called the Creator Series, where 20 of the biggest and fastest F1 content creators in the world come together as one to race. The purpose? to battle it out for the crown to become the fastest F1 content creator in the world.

In season 3 (consisting of 16 races), the first season on the newly released F1 23 game, THOMB got off to a great start. THOMB gained the championship lead after round 6 and stayed in the lead until the very last race. Benjamin Daly (AKA Tiametmarduk) closed in rapidly during the last 7 races of the championship and put himself into contention for the win going into the final round of the championship with a small gap of 14 points to THOMB.

THOMB managed to get a great start with his championship rival on the back foot after a bad qualifying, but Tiametmarduk got closer and closer through the final few laps of the race, overtaking him in the last lap after an unexpected safety car caused chaos in the closing stages. Under big pressure from the championship contender, THOMB managed to hold on with older tyres to a P6, meaning he clinched the driver’s championship with a marginal gap to P2 of 10 points only.

Season 4 has already begun and THOMB will be trying to defend his championship, which could make him the first ever 2-time champion in the Creator Series. Catch up on his Creator Series story on YouTube or catch the liveshows on Twitch!
