A New Chapter: THOMB Leaves Alpine Sim Racing

Today, I announce that after more than 4,5 years, I leave Alpine Sim Racing and my ambassador role.

8th April 2021, the day I became an Alpine Sim Racing ambassador. A passionate team of sim racers banded together to revolutionise content creation in esports, motorsports and Formula 1; I couldn’t be prouder of everything we have achieved together, so here are a few highlights.

2021

The beginning. I appeared as a special guest racing in the Alpine Sim Racing series, whereafter I made many visits to the Alpine Sim Racing HQ in Limoges documenting the Day in a life of an F1 Esports driver YouTube video. I also did my first bit of commentary over Esteban Ocon sim racing in Paris’ own esports arena.

2022

The year I went from racing in the Alpine Sim Racing series to commentating and presenting the show. This was also the year Alpine and I showed that sim racers aren’t just able to drive virtually, as they put me in the Kimi Raikkonen’s Lotus E20 race-winning 2012 Abu Dhabi GP Formula 1 car with zero real life racing experience; to this day still the most unforgettable experience I have ever had in my life! I also did a 1v1 versus Esteban Ocon, while asking him questions about his F1 race with Alpine (and rear-ended him). Besides that, Alpine introduced me to Special Effect, a charity that is still close to heart today, which I’ve done a yearly fundraiser for in support since 2022. I also went to the 2022 Hungarian F1 GP as a special guest in the paddock, a truly unforgettable experience. Alpine then flew me out to Canada and USA to feature as the expert in a Prime Video series called E-Game ON, even driving a real F4 car as part of the TV-series episode.

2023

The year I did the first-of-its-kind live IRL stream at the 2023 Alpine A523 Formula 1 car launch, an incredible experience (even got my own “Twitcher office”), besides visiting the F1 factory in Enstone to help the team create content for the esports team partners. Another one of my duties in 2023, helping to manage the simulators and guests at an Alpine’s dealers gathering, resulted in me making an awesome content piece with Jack Doohan as I became his passenger princess racing a private race track in an Alpine A110. I also got invited to go to the Belgium GP in 2023 with Alpine Cars BELUX, a super cool experience with a great view of eau rouge!

2024

The year we managed to do another “first” as Alpine had organised for me to stream IRL at the 2024 Le Mans 24 Hour endurance race in France. Equipped with a special live-streaming backpack and Harvey (part-time cameraman, full-time Alpine Sim Racing boss), we hit the track, interviewed the public and went onto the starting grid right before one of the most prestigious races in the world. I also managed to do a really cool Alpine A110S track day besides heading to the Belgium GP with Alpine Cars BELUX.

2025

The year I visited the F1 Sim Racing events in Sweden with the Alpine Sim Racing team to support the team and create stories/posts for mine and Alpine Sim Racing social channels. This year also marks the end of an incredible partnership and my time as an Alpine Sim Racing ambassador.

I am beyond grateful of everything I’ve been able to do and the incredible people I’ve met during my time as an Alpine Sim Racing ambassador. 2026 will mark the first time in my career since 2021 (basically since I started creating content), in which I am not tied exclusively to a Formula 1 team.
